Sire - Velvet Black's sire Vitalis was himself a reserve champion at his NRW licensing, HLP dressage index winner, won the Nuremberg Burg Cup final in Frankfurt and the Stallion of the Year competition at Inter I level at the World Championships in Ermelo. Over 60 of his sons have now been licensed. Thanks to his Grand Prix-successful offspring, Vitalis is one of the world's best dressage sires.

Damline - His dam is the Westphalian state premium and final ring mare Fia Lou, who has already proven everything in terms of breeding.
